Why?
We’re here to provide a glimmer of hope and we think a starship is inherently optimistic. Maybe somehow enough of humanity will survive climate change, unite, and become technologically capable of traveling the cosmos. Too optimistic? Call it an escape then. A moonage daydream, to quote the space poet David Bowie.
The truth is we’re already on a starship, adrift in the void, working together to overcome big challenges and find moments of joy.
We’re here for the curious. The Geeks. People who look up at the sky and wonder, or who dive into a sci-fi story and wander. People who want to explore the universe aboard a sleek starship with fascinating people and life-changing adventure.

With local industry leaders like Astrobotics and nearby towns with names from the cosmos like Moon, Mars, and Apollo within a short drive, Pittsburgh is transitioning from the Steel City to potentially becoming "Space Burgh."
The Space Bar Experience
Space Bar is not your typical space-themed bar adorned with little green moon men. It's a sophisticated, immersive experience designed for the modern-day Captain Kirk—adventurous yet refined. Founded by “Healer to the Stars” Elizabeth Menzel, a retired trauma healer & outer space and sci-fi lover, and Dale Thomas Vaughn, a sci-fi writer and leader in AI working with Microsoft and Google, Space Bar is where “geek chic” meets “cosmic elegance.”
